Hyper-V

 

  1. Visit our downloads page – downloads.snapt.net
  2. Unzip the file
  3. Open Hyper-V Manager
  4. Select your Hyper-V server and choose "New" > "Virtual Machine..."
  5. You will now see the Virtual Machine Wizard. Click "Next"
  6. Give your VM a name and select a storage location. Click "Next"
  7. Choose "Generation 1" and Click "Next"
  8. Choose how much memory you would like to allocate and click "Next"
  9. Select your virtual switch and click "Next”
  10. Select "Use an existing virtual hard disk" and fill in the path to the file you extracted earlier and click "Finish"
  11. You should now see your new VM listed under "Virtual Machines" in the Hyper-V Manager. Right-click on your VM and select "Connect..."
  12. Under the "Action" menu select "Start".
  13. Once the system has finished booting you can type “getipaddress” if running DHCP or run “networkConfig” to set the IP address statically.
  14. You can now open a web browser and navigate to http://youripaddress:8080 and login to Snapt with the default username and password (admin/admin)
