Balancer Stats Socket is not available

If you are not seeing reports, live dashboard information, and your Status Check shows an error for Stats Socket it means that we cannot read from the socket for the Balancer. The first thing to do is go to Balancer, Configuration, Default Settings and click Save, then Logging Options and click Save, then do a full stop/start of the Balancer.

If that doesn’t work, check your Balancer, Configuration, Backups – Export tab. You should see the following line under the defaults section:

stats socket /tmp/haproxy.sock mode 777 level admin

If not there is a problem altering your Balancer configuration. If you do see it, ensure your cronjob is setup correctly and the permissions are all fine.
