WAF Logging

When using the Snapt WAF, it is important to note that we do not log non-useful information.

Therefore, when using either IP/GeoIP blacklisting or the Test Cookie functionality, note that there will be no blocks shown under the WAF Dashboard or WAF Block Report.

In the case of GeoIP blacklisting for example, this would simply result in huge numbers of blocks being logged for known regions – large log accumulation can quickly consume disk space and make it difficult to find pertinent information in the case of a false positive which may require adjustment on your WAF settings.
